Felt Roofing Contractor Essex

Felt Roof Project in the CM Area

This job took HighPoint Roofing And Building out to a property in Essex, in the CM postcode area, to install a complete new warm deck roof system. The old roof had reached the point where a full replacement made more sense than another repair, so the homeowner asked us in for a proper look and a free no obligation quotation.

Our team has been fitting felt roofing across Essex and the wider London area for over 40 years between us, so jobs like this are bread and butter work. We stripped back what needed removing, checked the deck underneath was sound, and got the new system down without dragging the job out longer than it needed to be.

What a Warm Deck Roof System Involves

A warm deck build places the insulation above the structural deck, with the waterproofing layer on top. This keeps the insulation dry and reduces the risk of condensation forming within the roof structure, which is a common issue on older flat roofs that were never built with insulation in mind. For a domestic property in Essex, this gives a roof that performs better through the year and should need far less attention going forward.

If you are searching for felt roofing in Essex and want a system that is built properly rather than patched over, a warm deck build is usually the right call for a flat roof of this type. It is not the cheapest option on paper, but it is the one that tends to last.

Working to a High Standard

Every job we take on is covered by public liability insurance, and this roof comes with a 10 year guarantee. That is not just a number we put on paperwork — it reflects how we build the roof in the first place. Materials matter, but so does getting the details right: falls set correctly so water runs off, joints and edges finished properly, and no shortcuts on the parts nobody sees once the job is done.

We aim to meet or exceed what the customer expects on every project, whether that is a small repair or a full flat roof replacement like this one. Prices are kept competitive without cutting corners on the work itself.
