Getting the base right is the part that matters most with any block paving driveway. A poorly prepared base leads to movement and dips further down the line, so we take the time to get the concrete foundation solid before a single block goes down. Alongside the driveway work, we pressure washed the roof to remove built-up grime, moss, and general weathering. Moss and algae hold moisture against tiles, and over time that can shorten their lifespan, so a periodic wash is worth doing even when there is nothing structurally wrong.

New UPVC Fascias and Guttering

Old fascias can warp, discolour, or start letting water in behind the gutter line, and once that happens it tends to get worse rather than better. Fitting new UPVC sorts that out and gives the guttering a proper, secure fixing point. It is a job that is easy to overlook until there is a problem, but doing it alongside other exterior work like this saves the cost of arranging separate access later on.

New Fencing to Complete the Job

The final part of the project was new fencing around the property. This ties in with the driveway and roof work to give the whole exterior a consistent, tidy finish.
