UPVC Fascia & Soffit Roofers Edgware

New Fascias, Soffits and Guttering in Edgware

This Edgware property came to us with fascias and gutters that had simply given up. The boards were at the end of their life and the guttering had started leaking, which is never something to leave for another winter. The customer got in touch after seeing our 20% discount running at the time, and we arranged a free no obligation quotation before agreeing a start date.

We fitted new black UPVC fascias and soffits along with replacement guttering, giving the roofline a proper working finish rather than a patch-up job. Black was the customer's choice and it suits the property well.

End of Life Boards and a Leaking System

Old fascias and soffits don't fail overnight. They tend to warp, crack or let water track behind them over years, and by the time it's visible the guttering is usually struggling too. That was the case here. The leaking gutters were the main trigger for the call, but once we had a proper look it was clear the fascias needed replacing at the same time rather than being repaired around.

Timing worked well for the customer, with our current discount making it the right moment to get it sorted rather than waiting for further damage.

Two Days on Site

The job took two days from start to finish. Day one was largely stripping out the old boards and guttering and checking the roofline underneath for anything else that needed attention before the new material went up. Day two was fitting the new fascias, soffits and gutters and finishing off the details.

As part of the fascia and soffit replacement we also fitted lead flashing and dealt with the valleys, making sure water is directed away properly rather than pooling or finding gaps. We added roof ventilation while we were up there too, which helps reduce condensation building up in the roof space and adds a bit of longevity to the timber and boards above.

Flat Roof Work Carried Out at the Same Time

While on site we also carried out some flat roof work. It made sense to deal with it in the same visit rather than have the customer arrange a separate job further down the line. Getting the ventilation and flat roof sorted alongside the upvc fascias and soffits and gutters meant less disruption overall and one clean job rather than several smaller ones.

This is fairly typical of how we approach these jobs. If we're up on the roofline already, it's usually more practical and better value for the customer to deal with related issues at the same time, rather than leaving them for another day.

10 Year Guarantee and Straightforward Pricing

All the work carried out comes with our 10 year guarantee, which covers the fascias, soffits, guttering and the flat roof work completed during the visit. We're fully covered by public liability insurance too, which gives customers peace of mind that the job is being done properly and that they're protected throughout.

We always start with a free no obligation quotation. It means the customer knows exactly what they're paying for before any work begins, with no surprises once we're on site.

The Finished Job

Compared to where it started, the roofline now looks properly finished rather than tired and leaking. New black fascias and soffits sit cleanly along the roof edge, the guttering runs properly, and the flat roof and ventilation work should mean fewer problems down the line. The customer was pleased with how it came together over the two days, and it's the kind of straightforward job we carry out regularly across Edgware and the surrounding areas.

If you're noticing similar signs on your own property, cracked boards, sagging gutters or damp patches near the roofline, it's worth getting it looked at before it gets worse. We're happy to come out, take a look and give a free quote with no pressure attached.
